We’ve been discussing the state’s current 10 percent by 2015 renewable energy standard (RES), which was established in 2008’s landmark Michigan energy law. This year, Michigan electric providers should meet that standard. We’ve also been updating you on how Michigan’s aging energy infrastructure and new EPA regulations will also be factors in new energy policies our state legislators must enact this year.
