Energy Resolutions—and Energy Assistance—for 2022

Here’s a great way to start 2022: Make energy resolutions that can help our environment, our state, our communities, and sometimes even help you save money.

Resolve to Save Energy

You’ve probably thought about taking extra steps to save energy—but maybe haven’t gotten around to making changes. Let the new year motivate you to move forward and save energy. Here are some easy ways to get started:

Resolve to Explore Green Energy Options

Michigan energy providers offer programs that enable you to access clean renewable energy without needing to install your own solar panels or build your own windmill. You can cut your carbon footprint just by signing up for these programs.

Resolve to Help Others

Michigan energy providers DTE Energy and Consumers Energy also offer assistance to help their customers with their energy bills.

You may also want to consider helping others with the process of applying for energy assistance. Helping others is a great way to start off the new year.
